From a small village in Maharashtra to the global ultrarunning stage.
I belong to Sastewadi, a small village near Baramati. My mother is a homemaker, while my father works as a farmer. In our house, everyone helped however they could. Our lives revolved around a life of routine and responsibility; nothing extraordinary. Looking back, that upbringing gave me a strong base. It helped me become more realistic, patient, and accustomed to working hard. These traits later benefited me in endurance events as well as in my career.
Using government grants, I finished my education after putting a lot of effort into my academics. After earning my degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Pune University in 2013, I started working in core electronics, which includes programming for electric vehicles. My professional journey was stable and growing, but there was always a quiet longing for sports within me.
I had played state-level Kabaddi during school and loved running in competitions. That desire never truly faded away. Years later, when I ran a 10K, it felt like I was returning to a part of me that had been on hold, but not gone. That was the turning point in my endurance journey.
Not just medals, but memories earned through sweat and sacrifice.
Every race has stretched my limits differently – sometimes physically and sometimes mentally. Long distances teach you patience. Ultra events teach you humility. And representing your country teaches you responsibility.
Some important milestones in my journey:
Each achievement came from consistent training, early mornings, and believing in little daily progress.
To keep challenging my own limits and encourage more women to step into endurance sports with confidence.
To represent India at the highest level in ultra events and use running to spread strength, unity, and positive thinking.

The journey ahead is bigger, bolder, and driven by purpose.
My story in endurance sports has been shaped through consistent hard work – from rediscovering my passion for running to competing at international ultra-events. Year by year adds to the progress in distance, discipline, and competitive performance.
